We are thrilled to share a heartwarming story of generosity and commitment from two of our most dedicated supporters, Scott and Lisa Purks. For over five years, the Purks have demonstrated their unwavering love and dedication to the clients of HabCenter. Their journey with us began as annual givers, but their recent major gift marks a significant milestone in their philanthropic journey.

Scott and Lisa have been actively involved in various HabCenter activities, from volunteering at the Center to sponsoring and attending events, donating programming supplies and curating an artist for art classes. Their collaboration with our HabCo Manufacturing team has been instrumental in engaging local manufacturers, furthering our mission to support adults with developmental differences and mental health challenges.

Lori Bobot, the original Founder and Owner of Bocatronics, has been particularly engaged with our mission. Bocatronics, was established as a small, woman-owned business specializing in hard-to-find, long lead-time, and obsolete components, has been a beacon of support for HabCenter. We are immensely proud to see their major gift as a testament to their dedication to our neurodiverse population.

We are honored to recognize the generous donation of $10,000 from Bocatronics. During Scott and Lisa’s visit and tour of HabCenter, they witnessed firsthand the life-changing programs we offer. This donation will significantly enhance our life skills development initiatives, expand our mental health counseling services, and grow our PEAR programs, empowering our clients to reach their full potential and fostering a more inclusive community.

We are grateful for the incredible generosity of Scott, Lisa, Lori and Bocatronics. Their support is a powerful reminder of the impact we can achieve together. Thank you for your commitment to our mission and for helping us create a brighter future for our clients.
