We are excited to be in a multi-phase reopening to once again be able to serve our clients.  As we move through the reopening process, the health and safety of our clients and staff is at the forefront of everything we are doing.

Programs in Art, Education, and Recreation (P.E.A.R) project.

Work Hard Play Hard. Although the Hab Center has a central focus on vocational training, work is not the only thing that drives us! The Hab Center is working to increase the wrap around services that are provided to clients.

In 2015, the Hab Center was excited to add a new element to our constellation of services called the Programs in Art, Education, and Recreation (P.E.A.R) project. Through P.E.A.R., clients have increased opportunities to engage in activities that will help them develop in the areas of:

– Socialization
– Daily living
– Self-advocacy
– Health and wellness

The P.E.A.R project provides training in the activities that increase client’s level of independence and exposes them to education, culture, art, sports and other fun activities. The goal of this project is to increase the skills of our clients with special needs so they can maximize their inherent potential.
