HabCenter Boca Raton Receives Transformational $120,000 Grant from the Carl Angus DeSantis Foundation.
Boca Raton, FL (September 4, 2025) — HabCenter Boca Raton is honored to announce a generous grant of $120,000 from the Carl Angus DeSantis Foundation. This extraordinary gift comes in recognition of HabCenter’s 47 years of service to the community.
During their recent visit, the Foundation expressed deep appreciation for the heart, dedication, and dignity our team brings to the lives of those we serve. The additional support was awarded as a tribute to the lasting impact of our mission to equip adults with developmental differences and mental health challenges with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed to lead useful and productive lives with dignity, respect, and independence.
“This remarkable gift will allow us to strengthen and expand our programs, from vocational training to mental wellness services, ensuring that every individual who walks through our doors is given opportunities to thrive.” Sherry A Henry, Chief Executive Officer of HabCenter Boca Raton.
We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the Foundation’s confidence in our work. With their support, HabCenter can continue to create opportunities that matter – ensuring every individual we serve is seen, valued, and given the tools to live with purpose and independence.
